India vs Bangladesh, Pink Ball Test: Full list of activities planned on historic Day 1
India may be the last major Test playing nation to embrace pink-ball cricket but the BCCI, under new President Sourav Ganguly have left no stone unturned to make the historic first day-night Test a memorable affair.

The City of Joy is firmly in the grip of a pink fever and tickets for the first four days of the match at the iconic Eden Gardens have already been sold out.

City landmarks are being illuminated in pink to mark the occasion, and a ball-shaped pink blimp hovers over the 67,000-capacity stadium.

A number of Indian cricketing heroes will be present at the occasion on day one, which will also witness cultural and musical programmes. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Bannerjee and Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will also be present at the Eden Gardens.

The match is scheduled to begin at 1 PM and will have a 40 minute lunch break and a 20 minute tea break.

Here’s a look at the full list of activities to mark the historic occasion:

1:00 PM The game starts. The Hon’ble Prime Minister’s box will have 10 seats and 2 reserved seats. 5 seats allocated to Bangladesh and India each. Indians will include – Chief Minister, Sourav Ganguly, Sachin Tendulkar, Jay Shah & Avishek Dalmiya.

3:00 PM End of first sessions of play. The Hon’ble Prime Minister & Chief Minister leaves the ground.
3:10 PM A chat show involving the six legends of Indian cricket on the ground. The panel involves the following • Mr. Sachin Tendulkar • Mr. Rahul Dravid • Mr. VVS Laxman • Mr. Anil Kumble • Mr. Kapil Dev • Mr. Sunil Gavaskar
3:40 PM Play resumes for second session
5:40 PM End of second session of play
5:43 PM India’s ex-cricket captains and some other invited Indian athletes take a lap of honour in a golf cart on the playground. The Hon’ble Governor of West Bengal is also on a golf cart. An instrumental musical performance is delivered by Sorendru and group from a small stage outside the BCR and adjacent to B block, towards the field of play.
5:55 PM The lap of honour ends.
6:00 PM The last session of the play starts
7:30 PM The Hon’ble Prime Minister & Chief Minister arrives at the Club House of the Eden Gardens stadium. She is received by the Office Bearers of CAB and escorted to her hospitality box in the Club House.
8:00 PM The last session of play is over. Immediately after the end of play, a team of 200 odd people rush in to set up the stage on the field of play.
8:10 PM Runa Laila perform with her group of musicians. 250 dancers perform.

8:23 PM The Hon’ble Prime Minister & Chief Minister is escorted to the play-ground for the felicitation program.
8:25 PM Cultural program ends. The dignitaries go on the stage. The felicitation program is hosted by Harsha Bhogle/Boria Majumdar.

9:15 PM Felicitation program ends. This is followed by a small musical program by Mr. Jeet Ganguly.
